Reach Fort Hood with us

Chapel communities are strategically located in a place where civilian churches do not have access. Chapel’s strategic location places believing community in the midst of the military community offering hope, connection, and access to spiritual growth and formation.

To establish a movement of reproducible gospel communities that saturate Fort Hood and the military.
Our vision

Why Fort Hood

Fort Hood is one of the largest military installations in the world, and the people who live and work here are always moving.

Soldiers and families arrive, deploy, and PCS to their next duty station. That constant change makes it hard for a civilian church to reach them, and it is exactly why a chapel congregation on post matters. We are already in the barracks, the neighborhoods, and the units.

Can we imagine one gospel community for every 500 people, reproducing and living on mission right in front of the lost? Every leader we train here will PCS somewhere else. A partnership with Agape Hood does not stay on Fort Hood. It goes wherever the Army sends our people.

Where your partnership goes

Missional communities are our organizing principle at Agape. Partnership dollars affect them the most.

Missional communities

Curriculum and campaign materials for our leaders, and the resources at our entrance table that we give away to leaders as they equip and lead their communities.

Equip

Quarterly Agape Equip seminars that train missional community leaders and develop reproducing leaders who PCS all over the world.

IF:Table and DNA

IF:Table gathers six people around a simple meal for real stories and Christ-centered conversation. Men’s and Women’s DNA groups study the word weekly and prepare leaders for missional communities and IF:Table.

Soldiers and families

A Soldier and Family welcome plan that connects service members and families to people and ultimately to Jesus, along with Agape Kids and outreach across post.
